Admission Process

Madrasa / Islamic College Admission Process

1. Announcement of Admissions

  • The madrasa/college officially announces the opening of admissions for the new academic year through notices, local announcements, social media, or the official website.

  • The admission notification usually specifies available courses (Hifz, Aalimiyat, Arabic, Islamic Studies, Modern Education, etc.), eligibility, and important dates.

2. Application Form Submission

  • Interested students/parents collect or download the admission form.

  • The form must be filled with accurate details such as student’s name, age, previous education, and guardian’s details.

  • Required documents are attached (birth certificate, previous school certificate, ID proof, photographs, etc.).

3. Eligibility & Entrance Test

  • Students may undergo a basic entrance test to assess Qur’an recitation (Nazirah, Hifz level), Arabic knowledge, or general academics.

  • Some madrasas also check handwriting, discipline, and student’s interest in Islamic studies.

  • For higher Islamic studies, candidates may be asked to recite Qur’an portions, Arabic grammar, or previous madrasa syllabus.

4. Interview & Counseling

  • A short interview with the student and guardian is often conducted by the teachers/management.

  • The purpose is to understand the student’s aptitude, family background, and intention for seeking Islamic education.

  • Counseling is provided regarding curriculum (Islamic + Modern Education) and hostel/boarding facilities if required.

5. Admission Confirmation

  • Selected students receive confirmation from the madrasa/college.

  • Parents/guardians complete admission formalities by paying a nominal admission fee (if applicable).

  • Students are allotted their class/section and hostel accommodation (if staying).

6. Orientation & Commencement of Classes

  • New students attend an orientation program introducing them to madrasa rules, daily schedule, and course structure.

  • Classes officially begin as per the academic calendar, including Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, Arabic, Islamic sciences, and modern subjects where applicable.
